The inviting, fresh spring air seemed to overtake the region yesterday evening. It was hard not to want to be outside. By the time we reach Thursday, we may run out of superlatives to describe the ongoing stretch of weather. Unfortunately, it’s just after that time when this tremendous weather pattern may break down with shower chances returning for the weekend.
Today (Monday): Simply beautiful. Glorious sunshine combines with a delightful breeze from the north (around 10 mph) for one of the best days of the spring. Highs reach the low-to-mid 70s. While it's very pleasant outside, don't forget the sunscreen with very high UV levels. Confidence: High
Tonight: Clear, calm, and cool but refreshing. It's one of those nights where - even with lows in the 40s (40 colder suburbs, upper 40s downtown) - you might not need the heat on if you throw on an extra blanket. Confidence: High

On the other hand, low pressure to the west is pushing eastward - so some high clouds probably move in and there's even a 20 percent chance of a shower late, mainly west of town.
